The Uniting Church in Australia

 These two churches are situated to the north of the Maroochy River extending north to Peregian Beach (just south of Noosa) They serve a vital part of the Sunshine Coast.

You are welcome to join either congregation as a visitor to the coast or to join a congregation if you are living in this community.

ABOUT THE UNITING CHURCH: -

The Uniting Church in Australia is ecumenical. It testified "to that unity which is both Christ's gift and will for the Church" (Basis of Union, para. 1).

Ecumenism remains a vital aspect in all of the Church's life and work - in local congregations, national commitments to work together with other churches, and relationships and partnerships with churches of various denominations in Asia and the Pacific.

WE BELIEVE THAT: -

•  that the faith and unity of the church is built on the one Lord Jesus Christ;
•  through faith in Jesus Christ we are forgiven, renewed and united in Christ;
•  through the Old and New Testaments our message is controlled and our faith and obedience are nourished and regulated;
•  Christ feeds his baptised people on the way to the promised end through the sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
